Who do I fix the price?

You are free to choose! We strongly recommend looking at similar spaces on Beazy and how they are priced and positioning yourself from there. Don’t worry, you can change this at any time.

Do you provide insurance?

Yes, every rental is automatically insured up to €30.000! The coverage applies to bodily injury or property damages for which the lender or borrower is liable under statutory provisions. Our policy covers all rented items, except for studios, apartments, vehicles and drones heavier than 5 kg. Theft is not insured. You can find more information on insurance.beazy.co.

Can I chose whom I rent my gear/studio to?

Of course. You are free to fix your own price, package multiple items together and accept/decline any requests as you see fit.

When do I pay when renting gear or space?

You will be charged as soon as you make a rental request but Beazy keeps your money in escrow until both you and the owner mark the order as completed.

Do I have to pay for the insurance?

No, the insurance is included in Beazy’s 20% fee. We handle everything!

Yes, pictures are very important. Aside from showing that you really own the item, it also shows in what condition it is. Photos are a major factor to improve rentals frequency, as listings with pictures get rented considerably more often than those without.

What does replacement value mean?

The “replacement value” refers to the current price of your equipment and how much it would cost to replace.

Do I have to give my exact address?

No you do not, a postal code is enough when creating a listing.

Who will rent my gear?

Gear renters are usually professional or amateurs photographers and filmmakers.

Someone wants to rent my gear. Are they trustworthy?

We put a lot of effort into making sure that the people sharing through Beazy are trustworthy, but you should always make sure by yourself. Feel free to ask for more information, pictures, contact information, etc. Please contact us via contact@beazy.co if you are doubting the person requesting to rent your gear.

Someone wants to rent my gear outside the Beazy platform. What should I do?

Say no. We will only be able to help you in case something goes wrong if the transaction has been processed through Beazy. It is very important to keep as much as your conversations and transactions on Beazy, otherwise our insurance policy won’t cover you. We also won’t be able to know what happened and no contract will bind your renter and yourself.

How should I fix the price?

You are free to choose! We strongly recommend looking at similar items on Beazy and how they are priced and positioning yourself from there. Don’t worry, you can change this at any time.

What commission do you take?

We take a 20% transaction fee on each rental, which already includes insurance coverage for each transaction.

How much money could I earn?

The monthly amount you can earn depends on the value of your gear, the rental price you fixed, and how often it is available. You could earn anything from 50€ to over 2’000€ per month.

When do I receive my money?

3 to 5 business days after your order has been marked as completed by both parties involved.

Someone damaged my gear. What should I do?

File a claim by sending an email signed with your name and username with the subject ” Beazy – Insurance Claim ” to contact@beazy.co. You can find more information via insurance.beazy.co

I am leaving the city in which I am sharing my gear. What should I do?

You can either close your listings while you’re away or simply change it to a new location.

Do I have to leave a review?

It is not mandatory but it is greatly recommended. Reviews help us monitor our community and identify back actors early, while also helping the other party improve.

How do I know if my place can be suitable for photo or videoshoots?

Our users are always looking for very different spaces from one project to another, that’s why there aren’t any particular requirements on the size or look of the space. If you are still unsure, feel free to contact the Beazy team to get some help.

Studio renters most often are professional or amateur photographers, filmmaking crews. Your space can be used for private or commercial shootings. Always ask your potential renter what the purpose of the shooting is, and how many crew members will get in.

Someone wants to rent my studio. Are they trustworthy?

We put a lot of effort into making sure that the people sharing through Beazy are safe and trustworthy, but you should always make sure. Feel free to ask for more information, pictures, contact information, etc. Always ask for the details of the shooting, the number of people who will join, and always require the renters to their own liability insurance. Someone wants to rent my studio outside the Beazy platform. What should I do?

Say no. We will only be able to help you in the case that something goes wrong if the transaction has been processed through Beazy. It is very important to keep as much as your conversations and transactions on Beazy, so that your renter and yourself are bound by a contract, defined in our Terms of Use.

Can I chose whom I rent my studio to?

Of course. The most important thing for us is that you are in full control of your space. You are free to fix your own price and accept/decline any requests as you see fit.
